Hi i have verizon fios internet and they gave me a router when it was installed. everywere in my house works great, and i have a relativley small house, but my room gets awful signal. and i can never load webpages on my laptop
any suggestions on what i can buy or do to improve this? im looking to do this very inexpesively.

What’s the difference between bridging two segments of the same subnet and say using OpenVPN to bridge two physical separate segments? Is the OpenVPN bridging works the same?
Thanks for reply. Let’s say i have a remote office that has been assigned some addresses from 192.168.1.0/24 and main office has other addresses from the same subnet and i setup an OpenVPN in bridging mode over internet. Will this virtual bridge make my network work like a normal LAN ?
I have a linksys and every so 3 minutes my network icon says “one or more networks are available” while I want my own to work. It is like my computer has short term memory loss and forgets my network and looks for others. What is the problem?
Is there like a way to have a solid connection where my computer locks on to my network?
Other details I have a wireless mouse x2, keyboard x2, usb connector for my nintendo ds and a usb called gigafast to get internet.
By fault I selected a wrong school in my networks, but want to change it..Please tell how can I do this?
